About
District 7 (D7) is one of sixteen districts in Tau Beta Pi, the Engineering Honor Society. As the largest district in number of chapters, we are made up of 24 collegiate chapters chapters as well as 6 active alumni chapters across the lower peninsula of Michigan and all of Ohio.
This is a community calendar for events organized by collegiate and alumni chapters in D7, as well as events organized by the D7 Team.
Frequently asked questions
How do I register? Why is this even necessary?
To publish events, create, and manage locations or groups, registration is required. This serves to protect the calendar from misuse and spam. Registration is only possible with an invitation link. You can receive this either from a member of the D7 Team or from already registered users. Registered users can only generate a limited number of invitation links.
I've been blocked. Who should I contact?
Please contact anyone from the D7 Team, either via e-mail or via our Matrix Server. We'd be happy to work with you to clarify why you were banned.
What about data protection?
We process as little personal data as possible. Your IP address is used during your visit, but not stored. You can read more in our privacy policy.
What software does the calendar use?
This calendar uses the LAUTI software and is being developed collaboratively on Codeberg. The source code is released under the AGPL license.
